Jos. Ward Painting Co. has a strong presence in the retail industry. From small repairs to new shopping malls our company has the expertice to complete the project . We work for individual shop owners to publicly traded companies. Our company is committed to providing the same level of professional service to every customer.

We tailor projects around our customers needs. In retail remodel projects we often schedule shifts after close of business at the customers request. When working in existing spaces during remodels we work with store managers to insure merchandise is protected before we start our work. We allow enough time during shifts to thoroughly clean the space we have worked in.

In new construction if schedules are tight we will provide additional man power to complete the project on time. We work separate crews on different shifts should the need arise. We also provide the equipment to carry out our operations. Our skilled craftsmen are trained and certified to work from man lifts as high as 120'. We will provide stages and scaffolding if lifts are not an option.

In all retail spaces we realize the importance of the aesthetic properties of both paint and wallcovering. We will work with owners, architects and designers to prepare samples and product informartion so the person who makes the final decision is well informed. We will provide a physical mock up sample on site if requested. For specified systems by others, If we are asked we will provide our thoughts on the finish system explaining benefits and limitations of the system. If we are writing a specification often times we consult with manufacturer representatives to determine the best product for the application. It is this process that provides everyone with the knowledge to learn and observe what the final product will look like.

Our professional services for retail include many different aspects of the finish trades. Below is a list of some of the services we can provide for your company.

- Latex Paints including leed compliant zero voc products in flat, satin, eggshell, semi-gloss and gloss

- Special coatings including epoxies, urethanes, fluoropolymers, alkyds, high heat

- Faux Finishes including venetian plaster, spatula stuhhi, metallic finishes, multi color finishes, splatter finishes, textured finishes, glazing, old world stain finishes, marbleizing, wood graining, rag finishes, crackle, distressed, layered finishes, sponging

- Wallcoverings including vinyl, fabric, paper, murals, graphics, borders, acoustical wall carpets, wood veneers, belbien, FRP

- Floor coatings including floor sealers, garage sealers, waterproof sealers and sytems, self leveling epoxies, urethanes, concrete stained floors, secondary containment coatings, fleck floors
